Peanut Butter "Cranwich" with Almonds
A quick and simple snack or breakfast for on the go—perfect for the office.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3 tablespoons Peter Pan® Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 slice Healthy Choice® Hearty 7 Grain Bread, toasted
- 1 tablespoon slivered almonds, toasted
Directions
- Combine cranberries, peanut butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Spread on toasted bread.
- Sprinkle with toasted almonds. Serve.
Cook's Tips
Prepare peanut butter mixture and place in a small plastic container. Put toasted bread and almonds in a recloseable food storage bag for easy travel to the office.
Toast almonds by placing them in a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned and fragrant, stirring occasionally.
